This study adopted a questionnaire from Dolly Jesusita Young (1990) and “Tips to Overcome Public Speaking Anxiety” (2019) to collect the data of 94 students from Kainan University to answer two research questions: (1) What are the most influential factors related to students’ English speaking anxiety? and (2) How do the students overcome English speaking anxiety? The results showed that the main students’ English speaking anxiety was about the fear of speaking the wrong words, and they would like to practice speaking English with foreigners to overcome their English speaking anxiety. According to the results, teachers can change their teaching method to help students to reduce their English speaking anxiety in the classroom.
