With profound historical heritage and large number of preserved cultural relics, Tainan also boasts to have many delicious snacks. When talking about old street culture and snacks, no other city is comparable to Tainan for short easy travels.
We chose Five-harbor district as a representative area of Tainan because of its very convenient transportation, well preserved historical sites and most revisited area. For this project, we studied the tourist’s satisfaction towards the snacks in Five-harbor district. In this research, 110 questionnaires were distributed and 102 valid ones were collected. The results showed that most tourists who visited Five-harbor district were single and had university degree. Half of the tourists came from the southern part of Taiwan, they were mainly young students and most of them stayed at least one day in the area. On a scale of 1 to 5, our “Customer Satisfaction of Five-harbor district in Tainan” research survey showed the following average scores: food (4.18), cleanliness (3.82), service quality (3.88), space (3.95) and must revisit (4.43).
Based on the above results, we can conclude that one of the most important reasons for tourists to revisit Tainan city is the Tainan snacks. You can slow down and enjoy the life journey in Five-harbor district in Tainan.
