In order to reduce the burden of long-term care for the family in the future, the insurance companies have introduced disability support insurance based on the disability level. The development of Internet and information technology has made big data technology rise rapidly. Compared to past judgments based on experience, modern times tends to rely on the analysis of data. Companies and organizations use big data to conduct a large amount of information gathering and analysis, and their management can use this information to make better decisions. This study uses questionnaires to explore consumers’ cognition of big data, the cognition of disability support insurance under big data, and purchase intention of disability support insurance. Then use SPSS statistical software for analysis, and use reliability and validity analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way variance analysis and correlation coefficient analysis to verify. As the results of this research indicate, there are some significant differences in the cognition of big data by consumer demographic variables. The cognition of big data is significant positive correlation with the cognition of disability support insurance under big data. The cognition of disability support insurance under big data. has a significant positive correlation with the purchase intention of disability support insurance.
