The Taiwan National Police Agency, estimates in 2019 the number of police that needs recruitment will fill up faster than before. Even though the sufficiency of police officers, we still cannot cover all law enforcement duties such as, security, traffic control, performance, project and public services. The main problem becomes how to balance the number of officers we have with the workload, which tends to be overwhelming. This study applies questionnaire in Xizhi branch police officers to see how service planning will influence them. Following suggestion may help to expand the police officer service to be more flexible, fair at same time are able to the security of the district and traffic conditions. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore, first, the security conditions and reasonable demands of the officers in Xizhi branch, second, analyze the duty arrangement and responsibility for each officer, third, the job arrangement and how it will affect an officer’s physical and mental condition,and theis family life. This data is based on the questionnaires collected from the field police of Xizhi station. Through , descriptive statistical analysis, factor analysis, independent Sample “t test”, one way ANOVA, and multivariate regression analysis, the results are as follows: first, influence on public security, traffic, and poise services due to insufficient police force. Second, police are fatigued and need to face on emergencies and there are limited promotion is the main stress on physically and mentally. Third, the balance between increased vacation time and increased overtime pay needs to be resolved. Forth, working long hours in unstable conditions is seriously influencing family life. Fifth, safety condition, family support, and work responsibility are correlated. Sixth, more people have contempt for police officers than respect. In addition, this study reached the conclusions that derived from service planning; as: First, improve the duty service back to normal. Second, the flexibility for the workload arrangement. Third, to increase family support. Forth, raising the awareness of the police officers physical and mental health management. Fifth, review the pay on overtime. Sixth, improve the police officer professional quality and establishment of positive work attitude to improve the working conditions of police officers and other aspects of the specific recommendations.
