| Summary: | 碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 化學工程與材料科技系碩士班 === 107 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the permanent waving by using a waving lotion and using appropriate amount of heat. In chemical treatment, a lotion, formulated with cysteine, monoethanolamine, castor oil, and polyol, was used. In physical treatment, a permanent wave machine providing appropriate amount heat was also used. The scalp conditions after permanent waving with heat were tested with a 3 in 1 skin checker. The measured performance indices are including moist level, oil level and softness of face skin. By the way, the scalp conditions were also observed by skin exfoliation with a DE-400U skin detector and the photo diagrams are observed with x50 lens. It was found that the damage on the scalp can be reduced by using the waving lotion with our formulated recipe.
