| Summary: | 碩士 === 明志科技大學 === 電子工程系碩士班 === 107 === The course scheduling is a problem that administrative staff members need to face at the beginning of every new semester. There are lots of requirements or restrictions of scheduling a course, such as the number of students, teachers’ availabilities, classrooms allocation, classes timing overlapping or conflicting, as well as equipment set-up. Different kinds of course scheduling systems have been proposed initially. However, this system is a customized service. The approaches can be achieved by designing acceptable algorithms to compute and generate a schedule.
This study refers to the previous course scheduling processes, interfaces and discusses with administrative staff members to construct and conform the rules of course scheduling. A set of algorithms are created and designed according to the curriculum and registration department’s requirements in Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT).
