碩士 === 國立政治大學 === 日本研究學位學程 === 107 === In recent years, in Japan and Taiwan, social problems such as a small rural population and an aging population have often been raised and become deeper year by year. In this case, the importance of the "public" becomes more and more important. As one of the modern frameworks for expressing public relations, a third sector such as a non-profit organization needs to maintain relationships with government departments and businesses at all times. In non-profit organizations, it is important to be an intermediate support organization that connects the third department with the executive and corporate roles.　The organizational form and role of the intermediate support organization are affected by various social problems, and it also changes itself according to the requirements of the society. This paper analyzes the problems faced by the intermediate support organizations, financial differences and their respective development goals while comparing the intermediate support organizations in Japan and Taiwan. Based on the differences between the intermediate support organizations in Japan and Taiwan, we will analyze the role of the intermediate support organizations in the future and how to improve them, and consider the future development of Japanese and Taiwan non-profit organizations.
