Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 農藝學系所 === 107 === Growth and development of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) are affected by different uncontrollable environmental conditions. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of different planting dates, thermal temperatures (growing degree days, GDD) and effective heat unit (EHU) on morphological and agronomic traits of commercial recommended peanut cultivar (''Tainan 14''). Experiments were carried out at at two locations throughout Yunlin County. Data for 4 location-cropping seasons were collected from two sites during 2018. Analysis and comparison the variation of iterative temperature model based on different base temperature and optimum temperature showed that the base temperature and optimum temperature are 15 °C and 28 °C for Tainan 14. Degree day units are often used in agronomy essentially to estimate or predict the lengths of the different phases of development. The vegetative growth stages spent 300 GDD or 260 EHU, whole flowering stage is about 487 GDD or 395 EHU, and the final pod filling phase accumulate about 364 GDD or 297 EHU. Several suggestions regarding the ways standard climatological station data may be used in such phenological modelling are made.
