In automation equipment, the rack is responsible for parts support. Aluminum extruded structure is the most commonly used material of the rack. After years of development, aluminum extruded structure in the market has a variety of common specifications and accessories. The aim of this study is to improve the existing aluminum extruded structure, to review the current structure strength of aluminum extrusion, and to analyze the weights technologies by experts meeting and Quality Function expansion method (QFD), and find out the important functional requirements and relative techniques. Then use engineering parameters to find out the principle of TRIZ, and by the principle of inventions to plan and design ideas. Finally, a patent analysis is presented, which can improve the strength of aluminum extrusion, effectively control the cost of aluminum extrusion, and increase the use of aluminum extrusion flexibly.
