According to the March 5, 2018 - Taiwan Institute of Industrial Intelligence (MIC) forecast, the global smart factory market will grow rapidly with a strong strength of around 10% in the next few years, and the output value will exceed 250 billion dollar by the end of 2018. In the face of such a trend, Taiwans multinational manufacturing companies based on global industry competition should build smart manufacturing platforms and applications in enterprises. The critical question is how can multinational manufacturing companies properly plan and evaluate beforehand to find a system solution that fits the enterprise? This study explores thorough relevant domestic and international research and empirical research from relevant theories and empirical matters. The choice is a reasonably feasible research method is determined, and then considers the global economic situation faced by multinational companies and the internal conditions of their organizations. It is also to confirm the past and present development of Taiwans "Industry 4.0" through environmental changes and decides to study the interests of Taiwans smart factory’s development process. Because the research is limited by time and manpower considerations, the research design of this paper takes the steps of how the concept of smart factory is introduced into traditional industries as the research topic, and the carbon fiber composite product manufacturing industry as the industry’s case study object, covering the Very Impressive Product Co., Ltd. Taiwan Operations Center, mainland China, Vietnam and Myanmar factories, and in-depth interviews with 4 units were performed for at least 1 hour with 2 high-level managers. Finally, with the thesis instructor’s inputs it is to determine the interview questions and implementation methods, successively obtain the data collection of individual research subjects, and provide the follow-up data analysis, and finally answer the questions set by the research purpose, and propose the current tentative research conclusions and practical recommendations.
