Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the correlations between start speed, lower limbs power and agility, and provide training suggestions throw the result. Method: 27 university rugby players were recruited participants. Measuring 5 meters sprint, countermovement jump, drop jump, change of direction ability and reactive agility test. 3D motion analysis system, force plate and total reaction time estimator system were used. Pearson’s correlation coefficient was used to examine the correlations between variables, p<.05. Result: There were significant correlations between start speed, 5 meters sprint and peak force, 5 meters sprint was also correlate with jump height. Change of direction ability was not significant correlate with start speed. 5 meters sprint was correlated with right total reaction time. Conclusion: The findings in this study suggest that coach and trainer can improve start speed throw the heavy strength training or plyometric training. The total reaction time was influenced by dominate side, therefore coach should notice the balance of each sides in agility training program. HO, CHIN SHAN 何金山 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 57 zh-TW
