Description
Summary:博士 === 國立交通大學 === 社會與文化研究所 === 107 === The saying “literature and philosophy (wen-sheng-dao-zhi)” is established based on the “substance-function theory” (tiyong lun): the integration of the “existence and basis” of all things and the “actions and effects” of all things. Zhuangzi emphasizes the process of transforming objects, while the emergence of “body-qi subject” also gives “language”, “material”, and “technê” special and independent positions. With this as the premise, this paper reflected and reviewed the interpretation of Zhuangzi’s spirit of art by representative scholars in the research field of Zhuangzi’s aesthetic thought in the 20th century, namely, Fu-Kuan Hsu, Wai-Lim Yip, and Li Zehou. The subject of the discourse connects with the world, which requires “intermediary” operations to complete: language and material need body-qi subject, while body-qi subject is inseparable from language and material.
