The commonest 6 car brands with M1 car horn in Taiwan were sampled, analyzed and modified. The purpose of research is to find out the ideal car horn sound that is capable of warning pedestrian and drivers with minimal unpleasant feelings. A total of 58 participants were asked to describe the feelings of the car horns that modified with music technology. The result reveals that the sound processed by the low-pass filter is the most popular choice. Meanwhile, the participants show their preference for car horn between 370.0Hz and 493.3Hz.
