In this thesis, a tapered slot antenna-loaded full-width microstrip leaky wave antenna is investigated with enhanced frequency scanning range. Measured results shows that the antenna can be operated in the frequency range 4.5 GHz ~ 6.0 GHz with the corresponding angular range 10 deg ~ 90 deg.
