Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 107 === Busy healthcare professionals often do not have enough time to provide their patients with comprehensive health education. As a solution, a small number of organizations have attempted to use chatbots to relay this information. Whether patients can accept this new technology, and what factors influence their willingness to engage with it, are still unclear. Using the theory of planned behavior, uses and gratification theory and involvement theory, this study explored the factors influencing the use of chatbots for health education. We conducted a questionnaire survey that generated 120 valid responses. Results showed that information, fashion and user involvement all significantly influence user attitudes. User involvement significantly influence subjective norms. Attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavior control have a significantly positive impact on intention. The results of this research can serve as reference for healthcare organizations in designing chatbots.
