Inspired by image experiences of daily life, the artist drew inspirations from her close connection with people, events, and objects. I also explored perceptions in life and of the environment, observed lighting changes in the environment, and recalled affective links to past events while looking back on the daily images collected as materials for creations. Under the title of “The Sensitivity and Perception of Painting,” the author explored her internal perception and experience, as well as the creative process of converting images into paintings. The combination of my nostalgic personality and internalized emotions during creation processes were interpreted by the mind images constructed through vacillation, decomposition, and reconstruction skills in paintings, enabling the context of creation to gradually evolve into a lucid art creation process. The creations were displayed in a solo exhibition in the form of graphic painting composed mainly of charcoal and oil colors. In the first chapter “Introduction,” the motivation and objectives of the study was explained to discuss the author’s focuses on life and the creation and exploration process based on retrospective affections. I also obtained collections of my life course through theses creations. The first chapter also described the research scope and methods to illustrate the my image experiences before devoting myself to painting. The relation and possibility between the “punctum” and paintings were delved into to facilitate the representation of mind images in graphic paintings. The second chapter “Observation and Connection of Contemporary Art Works” involved discussions of my works to determine the relation between their creations and mind images. Exploring my works helped artists gain spiritual confidence and reflect on the concepts and presentation of creations, thereby innovating creative processes and develop new perspectives. The third chapter “Context Analysis of Creations” organized stage-based contexts of self creations to identify the transitional process regarding memories, affections, and perceptions in painterly characteristics. The fourth chapter “Creation Display—Linear Entanglement and Lighting Experiments” illustrated aspects of sensitivity and perceptions in painting. During the process of creating such works, crucial elements including lighting, lines, and scenes were experimentally entangled and combined on the screen. Through image synthesis, changes were made to the interwoven lighting expression to display more rendered details in painting creations. The fifth chapter “Conclusion” included summation and reflection of such creation processes, as well as prospects and expectations of such works in the future. Based on Chia-Chun Chang’s creations during 2015 and 2018, this study discussed my motive for creation from her unease to the social environment. Inspired by image experiences of daily life, the artist drew inspirations from her close connection with people, events, and objects.
