From the perspective of value conflicts and adjustments and contradictions in the face of difficulties, understand the dilemmas and choices when they using dating apps. This study utilized narrative analysis of qualitative research and interviewed three participants in total. The dilemmas of the three categories are summarized: (1) the problem of network interaction derivative (2) the market of sex and appearance (3) dependence. Part of the coping is (1) cognitive adjustment (2) self-protection (3) interpersonal support (4) expanding the way of making friends. In addition, because the current research on the use of dating apps by gay is less in Taiwan, the researchers also compare the results with the heterosexual online dating literature and find that the dilemma of "heterosexual" and "homosexual" using online dating is not much different.
