Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 自然資源與環境學系 === 107 === This study was aimed to understand the taxa composition of the functional feeding groups of Taiwan’s stream aquatic insects, and the environmental parameters and functional feeding group composition under different altitudes. Data was collected from researches on stream aquatic insects in Taiwan. Results shown differences in the environmental parameters between different altitudes. Predator taxa proportion was the highest of all functional feeding groups. Most of the dominant taxonomic groups of different altitudes were similar. Significant differences were found in the functional feeding group composition ratio between the human disturbed environments and the natural environments of the same altitude. Natural disturbances have shown to affect functional feeding compositions at different altitudes. Under natural streams, proportions of functional feeding groups were significantly different at different altitudes, except for herbinorous piercers. When comparing the proportion of functional feeding groups of different altitudes with the River continuum concept (RCC), the composition patterns of collectors were consistent with the RCC, and the proportion of the shredders and the scrapers were than predicitons of RCC.
