The research covers the recording of the ceremony, and analyzes the relationship between local people and immigrants through the ceremony and the idea of publicity shaped by it. The Wang-Ye ceremonies in Dongshi are different. There are different explanations of Wang-Ye and Cing-Wang. There is a tradition of paper-pasted Wang-chuan in Wangliau, and it is a local characteristic. The Wang-chuan is an important symbol in the ceremony of the Wangliau. Originally the Wang-chuan Ritual held in every year. However, when the ritual held in the Five-year ceremony, the relation between the immigrants and hometown is closer. The immigrants look forward to joining the hometown ceremony. Owing to the immigrant's personal feelings and other words, the community is always shifting. The system of Dingkou money also give the shifting community. In public issues, the local ceremony is the common cognition in the village. The participants (Temples Committee, local person, immigrants) create the scale of the ceremony. The permissions of the participants are determined by the temples committee's attitude, which is open or conservative. The local person needs to coordinate with the temples Committee. The funds from the immigrants make the ceremony grander. The common good and private benefits are the reason why these three groups join the ceremony together.
