Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 107 === Abstract This study report mainly discusses about the engineers in Taiwan manufacturing on application of the statistical quality methods including 4 aspects such as: 1) statistical quality methods and their knowledge status, 2) their training opinion survey, 3) the application promotion opinion survey,and 4)continuious improvement topic of the current situation. While industry 4.0, AI and IoT are now raised up in Taiwan, the statistical quality methods on engineers routine working at the production process parameters setting and production stability must strive for influencing efficiency/effectiveness. Especialy, it’s very important on their company cost, quality, delivery and even AI research/development and also its production introduction in future. This study survey is applied questionnaire by selecting 31 manufacturing companies which qualified through ISO 9000 certification. Totally 240 questionnaires were issued and received 201 effective questionnaires .Consequently, the effective respond rate is 83.75%. After the data analysis and multiple comparisons on narrative statistics, independent sample t-test, variance analysis of single factor, correlation analysis and Scheffe’s post-mortem test so on, it are observed as concluded the results below: 1. In QC application and promotion, the primary methods such as QC 7-tools, 8D(8 Disciplines) report and manufacturing process capability analysis are ranked at the ordinary/upper medium level in the understanding aspect and the application at medium/lower level. The QC new 7-tools in the understanding aspect and in application aspect is considered as low/very low range. The medium/high methods are ranked in the understating aspect and application aspect which is at very low range. Comparing QC 7-tools/8D report/manufacturing process capability analysis with QC new 7-tools and medium/high QC methods. It is observed the current status of the whole QC knowledge is not so enough as expected. QC knowledge in both understanding and application aspects are observed at the medium/high correlation. 2. The engineers in manufacturing process are observed with significant difference in QC methodology and knowledge. In understanding aspect, male is better than female. In education level aspect, the research institute is better than university and senior high school. In department aspect,QC department is significantly better than the other department. In application aspect, factory scope within 101~300 employee is better than the small factories under 30. In sex aspect, male is significantly better than female. By department, quality and production is significantly better than the other service department. 3. Against the engineers training comments of the survey, the self-identity, the supervisor attitude and the participation effect belong to the high ranking zone and also indicate the higher identity on the training questionnaire. 4. Against the engineer’s training comments of the survey, it is also observed the significant difference in 3 aspects such as factory scope, sex and service department. As to supervisor attitude, factory scope over 500 employees is extreme significantly better than the small factory under only 31~100. As to the participating effectiveness, factory scope over 500 employees is significantly better than the small factory under 30. And quality department is better than engineering department. In addition, the self-identity of male is better the one of female. And quality department is significantly better than the other departments. 5. Against the engineer’s comments of the promotion survey, both the evaluation results at QC applying and its training method aspects belongs to the high score level and means the application and promotion with a higher identity. There is no significant difference observed under all variable factors in QC application and promotion. 6. The rates of the external presentation on quality improvement topics or the internal participating seminar or the internal routine competition are obviously at lower level. It means not so enough to promote QC knowledge and its methodology. In view of the study results, it should have been built the promotion committee in companies to implement the statistical quality methods application. As to the continuous improvement topics and relative field understanding and its appropriate application, it is worth to think about the routing reviewing and specifying with all related competence in future improvement.
