碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 美術學系 === 107 === Abstract This thesis links and compares the time line between the 90s and present. It became the inspiration of the author’s art creation. The 90s, represents the old times, is the era when the author was born. The present takes aspects from economic, culture, science and technology, is a response of the modernize daily life. During the creation process, the author stands in a neutral angle to observe and recall the memories between the two eras, meanwhile analyzing her own affection and reaction by the development. These became the fountain of the author’s inspiration. Now, as the big environment is enrolling “Convenient”, “Rapid”, “Efficient” into a higher standard. To keep up with the trend, people must forget or get rid of pressure, forcing themselves to receive and react faster to the latest information. This is a significant result to prove how the globalization trend has unconsciously changed people’s daily life. The author’s work is founded above “Consumption”. By generating her growth background, she seeks to realize how development has affected the “emotion” differences between the two eras. In the work, the author uses readymade materials to build found objects of cities and streets; it was later hidden with the symbolic emotions, to retrieve the main purpose. In description part, audience will acknowledge author’s growth and creation background, and how her daily life has become an inspiration. By uniting modern art relevance materials, it diagnoses and explores the standard modern-day life. As an artist, the author tries to reprint the cities from her memory, drawing support from mix media to transit her expression.
