Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 跨領域藝術研究所 === 107 === From 1980s, a group of Japanese always stay at home, and don’t get along with other people. They are called Hikikomori . In 1990s, American prophet Faith Popcorn prophesied that there would be a new group of people who were called Cocoons in 21th century. Though Cocoons and Hikikomori seem different, but they are related. Hikikomori not only causes problems to themselves, but also affects their entire family. For example, Metamorphosis, the novel written by Franz Kafka, the family always don’t want to face the problem. When the time goes by, the problem becomes worse. In 2010, Japan government defined Hikikomori , so many people in Taiwan started to discuss the problem of Hikikomori. From 1980s, many creations about Hikikomori have been published. Is the problem only for some particular people or all people? This creative project is written by my three personalities。One is my personality which tells everyone what the theses talking about. another is Hikikomori personality which is more subjective. The other is my student personality which is more objective. There are no actors in this performance, so audience must face any problem by themselves. In the End, the project might proof that Hikikomori is not only for certain people, but for everyone and anyone.
