The current study adopted both qualitative and quantitative methods. In the qualitative research method, the study examined the post-test and delayed post-test analysis through questionnaires which used values of life scale as the research tool. As for the qualitative method, after the researcher integrated Life Education into National Defense, the researcher distributed the worksheet of questionnaires. The study was conducted in two General Education classes of the first year students in a private vocational high school in Kaohsiung. The purposive sampling method was used. The obtained data were analyzed for the appropriateness of the course teaching, the post-test and delayed post-test of life values, overall analysis, the post-test and delayed post-test regarding students’ values of life in different groups via the T-test to analyze independent sample. The research applied these aforementioned statistic methods to verify the hypotheses. Based on the above research design and implementation of the analysis results, the obtained conclusions are as follows: 一、 The experimental group's perception of the life value scale was in the above average degree. 二、 The experimental group's life values in post-test were not significantly different when compared with control group scores. 三、 The experimental group's life values in delayed post-test were not immediately significant when compared with control groups. 四、 The experimental group is overall satisfied with the integrated Life Education curriculum. Finally, some specific recommendations are provided for the references about the integration of Life Education in National Defense curriculum for instructors and future researchers.
