It adopts a questionnaire-based scheme to survey the public elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City. A total of 418 surveys were distributed to 39 elementary schools. After collecting the questionnaire back, the data were individually analyzed by the statistical methods of t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The following conclusions are drawn from the study: 1. Positive psychological traits of the elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City are at the upper-middle level, and the perception of the “Optimism and Hope” perspective is among the highest. 2. Work adjustment of the elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City is at the upper-middle level, and the perception of the “Work Role” perspective is among the highest. 3. Self-efficacy of the elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City is at the upper-middle level, and the perception of the “Class Management” perspective is among the highest. 4. The elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City who are adjunct administratiave directors have a higher perception level of positive psychological traits. 5. The elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City who are adjunct administrative directors have a higher perception level of work role in work adjustment. 6. The elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City who are adjunct administrative directors have a higher perception level of self-efficacy. 7. The elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City with high positive psychological traits and high work adjustment have a higher perception level of self-efficacy. 8. There exists a direct correlation between positive psychological traits and work adjustment of the elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City. 9. There exists a direct correlation between positive psychological traits, work adjustment and self-efficacy of the elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City. 10. Positive psychological traits and work adjustment of the elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City have a predictive effect on self-efficacy.   Based on the results of the data analysis, the following suggestions are provided for educational authorities, schools, teachers and future researchers in this field for reference: 1. For educational authorities (1) Value the positive psychological capital of teachers – none of them is left behind. (2) Plan recurrent educational programs for teachers to strengthen their professional skills and support their development. 2. For schools (1) Establish a role model platform for teachers to exchange their experiences, and promote their work adjustment. (2) Form a positive atmosphere on the campus, and make the relationship between teachers and students alive. 3. For teachers (1) Strengthen the psychological quality, and realize the height of educators. (2) Pay attention to teachers' inner psychology and explicit behavior, and promote self-efficacy. 4.
