Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 體育學系 === 107 === Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate the physical fitness of the sports team players and the ordinary students in the classes, including boys and girls. The research participants were 64 students in the sports teams of Wen-Yuan public Primary School in Tainan City, and 103 students from the general classes. In the physical fitness tests, the items were body mass index, sit-and-reach, standing broad jump, one-minute knee-sit-up, and 800M running. Each experimental data was analyzed by One-way ANOVA and T test to examine the differences of groups. The significant level is α=.05. If the level was significant, Scheffé Method was used for post hoc comparison to examine the differences between the groups. Pearson correlation coefficient analysis was used to compare the physical fitness of sports team players and the ordinary students, also that of male and female school children. The results were as following: 1. There was no significant difference between the two groups in sit-and-reach test. 2. the two groups had significant difference in body mass index (BMI), standing broad jump, one-minute knee-sit-up, and 800M running. 3. Within the experimental groups, there was significant difference in standing broad jump, one-minute knee-sit-up, and 800M running. 4. To different “grades” of students, the items of standing broad jump, one-minute knee-sit-up and 800M running reached significant level (p <.05). 5. To different “genders” of students, all the five items were significantly differences (p < .05).
