The statistics of the Fire Department have shown that the incident of residential buildings has been the highest in recent years in Taiwan. Due to the lack of fire protection regulations for residential buildings below the fifth floor, it is crucial to strengthen the fire safety equipment, fire safety and evacuation routes of the buildings themselves. It has become a very important topic. This study is based on the fire alarms installed in domestic houses and literature review, and the design of expert interview questionnaires, analysis of current home fire protection issues and the government's current fire prevention policy and the use of The household's questionnaire method is to understand the current situation of the residents' fire prevention, so as to enhance the public's emphasis on housing safety, strengthen the propaganda of how to prevent fires, and increase the willingness of people to install fire alarms. The results show that there are still many old electric wires that are not regularly replaced, and the extension cords are overused. The cooking ingredients often leave the fire without being extinguished. The number of home has fire equipment such as fire alarm or fire extinguishers is rarely, indicating that the basic concept of disaster prevention safety and equipment should be strengthened.
