It is believed that Industry 4.0 will have a new breakthrough for the future industrial development. People have experienced three industrial revolutions, and the fourth industrial revolution is taking place. The development of Industry 4.0 is expanding. Whether companies fully understand the true concept of Industry 4.0.The concept of Industry 4.0 not only needs to buy fully automated equipment for manufacturing situations but also uses the ability of collecting data and timely understanding production’s capacity. What companies want to know is which resources can be used to achieve efficiency in order to reduce the production time of products or increase the production quantity of products to increase the profits of enterprises. This study is to investigate how much the amount of AGV is relatively efficient in the case of simulated production situation with fixed production time and fixed number of machines. This study uses ARENA software and Data Envelopment Analysis to evaluate the number of AGV in the production process. The simulated production load rates for this study are 95%, 98%, and 100%, respectively. It has been found that the use of 7 AGV quantities is relatively efficient.
