In recent years, this technology is in pursuit of innovation and breakthrough. In addition to reducing the manpower in the traditional industry, automatic control technology is also used to complete the high risk work. Traditional processes that require human repetitive tasks have been completely replaced by machines. In addition to simplify manpower, the greatest benefit is to reduce human error, increase efficiency and yield rate. This study uses the embedded system to simulate the operation control system of electric propulsion ship. In the meantime, we also develop prototyping teaching tools of electric propulsion ship by controlling the speed of the electric propulsion through the human machine interface. In this study, PID control technology is used to change the speed of the main engine, so that it will reach the setting speed by the engine telegraph. The operating system can achieve the basic functions of simulating the speed of the electric propulsion ship by integrating the system. The proposed system provides a prototyping teaching tool, and we’ll revise it according to teaching requirements in the future.
