| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 幼兒教育學系碩士班 === 107 === The purpose of this study is to explore the current considerations of choosing kindergartens and the difference between parents how to affect those considerations in Pingtung County. By collecting the questionnaire date from parents or caregivers whose children study in private or public kindergartens in Pingtun County. 360 questionnaires were distributed and 353 valid questionnaires were collected. In this study, I have used different statistical analyses, such as Descriptive statistics, One-way multi-variate analysis of Variance (MANOVA) and Scheffé method by SPSS 22.0, and the results are summarized as follows:
1. Parents in Pingtung County have difference concern on choosing kindergartens for children are based on quality of teachers, environment and equipment, parent-teacher interaction, curriculum and teaching, reputation and management, and price and welfare factors. All factors are concerned. Furthermore, the most concern is quality of teachers, the opposite is price and welfare.
2. Parents in different identities show significant differences in environment and equipment, curriculum and teaching factors.
3. Parents in different ages show significant differences in curriculum and teaching, quality of teachers, parent-teacher interaction, and price and welfare factors. Furthermore, the price and welfare factor is the most significant difference, and the age is under 35 is more concern than the age more than 36 years old.
4. Parents in different educational levels show significant differences in price and welfare factor. Furthermore, the educational level is under senior high school degree is more concern than bachelor degree, associate degree is more concern than master degree.
5. Parents in different occupations show significant differences in reputation and management, environment and equipment, curriculum and teaching, quality of teachers, parent-teacher interaction, and price and welfare factors. Furthermore, the occupation is service industries or housewives is more concern than government employees in price and welfare factor.
7. Parents in different family situations show significant differences in parent-teacher interaction factor.
8. Parents in different average monthly incomes show significant differences in price and welfare factor. Furthermore, the income is under 50 thouands is more concern than 50-70 thouands.
9. Parents in different living areas show significant differences in reputation and management, environment and equipment, curriculum and teaching, quality of teachers, parent-teacher interaction, and price and welfare factors. Furthermore, the living in outlying area is more concern than Pingbei, Pingchung and Pingnan districts in price and welfare factor.
