Elders have to cope with everything, and malnutrition problems seem to be common issues for elders. As a result, government gradually realizes the importance of related care issues in elders’ health and diet. Up to now, using animation for teaching and learning is considered as one of the vital points in the field of technology education. Through a more authentic and real 2D animation environment could assists elders to focus more on learning. Therefore, the present research applied 2D animation to teach elders the concepts of healthy diet and nutrition-related information.   The purpose of the present study aimed to investigate the influence of using 2D animation for elders and the effect of using 2D animation for promoting healthy diet and nutrition-related information. The samples of the study were 96 elders from Pingtung city and the results are as follows: 1.After incorporating 2D animation, there are significant differences in improving correct diet concepts for elders. 2.After incorporating 2D animation, there are significant differences in the concepts of balanced diet for elders. 3.After incorporating 2D animation, there are significant differences in improving the concepts of daily life style. 4.After incorporating 2D animation, there are highly satisfaction (78.2%) in improving correct diet habits through animation for elders.
