For the difference between the rubber material with different Shore hardness, the pressure difference and the ambient temperature, the finite elements’ software ANSYS was used for the simulation study. The rubber ring used herein is a circle having a radius of 16.2 mm. In the simulation experiment, three different Shore hardness rubber materials were used to apply different pressures to the flat plate above the circular rubber ring, while the ambient temperature was 25°C, 50°C and 75°C respectively. The results of the above simulation experiments were used for analysis and discussion to summarize the effects of Shore hardness, pressure and ambient temperature on the rubber ring. We obtain the results that the maximum contact stress of the rubber ring is close when the pressure is initially applied, and the apparent difference in hardness is seen until the analysis is nearly completed. A rubber having a higher hardness tends to have a larger contact stress. The higher the temperature, the higher the contact stress value will increase, and the increased stress will gradually increase.
