Compared with total sales amounts, the production of small and medium enterprise is around 30%. Also, compared with total number, employment in SMEs is 78%. According to these two rates, which fully explained that SMEs in Taiwan have common dilemma of insufficient profits and hard to run a company. The main information of this study is from collected information of Taiwan economic study institution. It is designing empirical research method to qualitative research of enterprise’s interview. The interviewee is entrepreneur or executive of actual attending operation and enterprise transformation planning. The requirements among interviewees would be fit small and medium enterprise in specifications of Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C., business age is above 10 years, experience enterprise growth bottlenecks and transformed successfully in reality. Through the interview of SMEs and the growth history of transformation, we discuss that SMEs are from starup to bottlenecks, and from potential bottlenecks to the drafting process of transformed strategies. Moreover, how to break through bottlenecks and gain the growth of enterprise? The enterprise expects that they can find promptly external environmental change, timely adjust their paces, take necessary operating strategies, set vision, choose suitable management mechanism, take fully advantage of limited resources. Making the terminate enterprise life cycle pass the trials to continue to grow. Collecting the information is related to interviews of transformation of SMEs, and providing small and medium enterprise which is facing the needs of transformation, expecting this study can assist them to extend growth cycle, stimulating small and SMEs’s growth and life in order to increase the survivability of small and medium enterprise.
