The caregivers of people with individual of CCN were categorized into two groups, continuous users and discontinuous users. They were interviewed by telephone based on the questions in “Communication Satisfaction Questionnaire”. The results of the study, which were based on 80 valid questionnaires and 8 interview data, are as follows. 1. The main caregivers of continuous users had better communication satisfaction in expressing basic needs and mood. The other group was just only in BADL needs, like expressing what he need is eating, drinking or going to toilet. The main caregivers of these two group both had worse communication satisfaction in exchanging information and maintain social etiquette. 2. The main caregivers of discontinuous users were faced access barriers with CCN individuals using AAC with low motivation。In the opportunity barriers, both group were faced the barriers which were other member of family lack knowledge about using AAC and the main caregivers have few choise to buy devices. Furthermore the main caregivers of discontinuous users needed a professional and long-term intervention with teaching assistance when they were faced knoeledge and practice barriers.
