Or use the combination, such as "zhèyàngyīlái", "zhèyàngdehuà", "nà(jiù) zhèyàngba" etc. Also we frequently hear about or use in the dialogue. The use of the word " zhèyàng " by native speakers of Mandarin is natural and undoubted. If you use the dictionary to explore the meaning of the word " zhèyàng ", it is probably the explanation of "this kind, this refers to the nature, state, mode, degree, etc. of the thing." However, in the case of actual use, it does not only refer to the state or degree of the matter. . This study integrates the grammatical sentence of the word " zhèyàng " through the predecessors literature. There are five grammars: sentence one " zhèyàng " + Noun. The second sentence is " zhèyàng " + Verb. Sentence three " zhèyàng " + Adjective / subject-predicate phrase. Sentence four conjunctions / adverbs / cans verb + " zhèyàng ". Sentence five lexicalization usage: " zhèyàng V lái" There are four pragmatic functions: Function one for emphasize the tone or degree. Function two for direct the talking content. Function three for connection. Function four to avoid speaker or the speaker wants to end the statement early. This study uses five sentence patterns and four pragmatic functions to analyze and explore the Mandarin corpus and three sets of commonly used Chinese language textbooks ("A Course in Contemporary Chinese", "Far East Everyday Chinese", "Practical Audio-visual Chinese 3rd Edition") in the word " zhèyàng " frequency distribution, and finally proposed the suggestions for learners, teachers and teaching materials.
