Method: The study does the experiment with the Gait analysis system of the running machine, FDM-TLR ZEBRIS Germany. Each runner runs at three different speeds with four pairs of socks respectively. We capture 10 seconds of each data and analyze the plantar stress with the software of plantar stress measuring, DYNAFOOT2 TECHNO CONCEPT France. Then we calculate the date we capture with Microsoft office Excel, adopting the method of Repeated measure ANOVA to do the statistics test and setting the p-value α=.05.Results: There is a significant difference between the jogging socks and other kinds of socks at the speed of 7.2km/h in the aspect of inside the heel and outside the heel. There is also a difference between jogging socks and toe socks in the aspect of toes and the forefoot at the speed of 12.6km/h. At the speed of 14.4km/h, the difference between the plantar arch of jogging socks and of other socks does exist. As for the perception of runners, they are more satisfied with jogging socks than with other socks in the aspect of plantar stress at three different speeds. In addition, the comfort level, the arch support, the overall perception, and the feeling of plantar stress of the jogging socks are better than of other socks.
