This study used self-development questionnaire as a research tool. The subjects were 350 track and field children athletes who joined 2019 year Athletes Meeting in Tainan. The valid questionnaires were 336 collected and analyzed through descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, one-way analysis of variance and Pearson product-moment correlation. The results were as follows: 1.Most elementary school’s track and field athletes are 6th graders and the number of boys were more than that of girls. The largest number of competition group athletes was [group Jia], the training days that most coaches choose was [four to five days every week]. Above fifty percent of athletes, their best performance was [not enter the top eight of Athletes Meeting in Tainan]. 2.The highest level of the athletes perceived coach leadership behaviors [training], follow by [reward], [caring], [democratic behavior], and the lowest level was [authoritarian behavior]. 3.The highest level of training satisfaction was [coach leadership], follow by [team atmosphere], [equipment], [training content], and the lowest level was [achievement]. 4.The different background variables of perceived coach leadership behavior for elementary school’s track and field athletes had significant differences in [competition group], [grades], [training days of every week], and[best results]. 5.The different background variables of training satisfaction for elementary school’s track and field athletes had significant differences in [competition group], [gender], [grades], and[best results] . 6.There is a high-positive correlation and significant differences between the perceived coach leadership behavior and training satisfaction for athletes. It meant that if the behavior of training was high, the satisfaction of coach leadership was also high; if the athletes perceive was low [authoritarian behavior], the satisfaction will be low. The above findings provided a reference for coaches, teachers, and follow-up researchers as well. CHEN,SHU-PING 陳樹屏 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 93 zh-TW
