To clarify the fine-scale genetic effects of stock enhancement, we collected and examined samples from the stock hatchery (2015 and 2016) and two releases using nine microsatellite markers. Furthermore, specimens from four locations from wild (Miaoli, Yunlin, Chiayi, and Penghu), seven from commercial hatcheries and one wild population from Kyushu, Japan were used for comparison. High genetic diversity was observed among 16 locations (N= 669, He= 0.612-0.729). The stock hatchery (2016), and two releases showed higher genetic diversity (Na= 9.6, 8.0 and 9.7; He= 0.724, 0.708 and 0.729) and lower pairwise FST value (0.003-0.019) compared to four locations from wild. It suggested that well-designed stock enhancement won’t result in a further decrease of genetic diversity. However, lower number of alleles (Na= 4.7) was still found at some private hatchery. It is necessary to monitor genetic variation between hatchery and target wild populations for stock enhancement program. We suggest the standard values of genetic diversity for stock enhancement are Na > 8 and He > 0.7. Huang, Chang-Wen 黃章文 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 67 zh-TW |
