碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 航運管理學系 === 107 === In recent years, the cruise industry has developed rapidly in Asia region. A lot of international cruises choose Taiwan as destinations because of its special natural and cultural landscapes, but also Taiwan is the hub in the Far East. Many scholars have already conduct research and analysis on the cruise industry, but the research of cruise ports efficiency evaluation was lack at present. Therefore, this study collected data Taiwan International Ports Corporation, LTD. and used the network DEA to evaluate the performance of international cruise ports in Taiwan over the years. The research show that the efficiency of international cruise ports in Taiwan is optimal and had raise recently. In 2017 and 2018, the optimum efficiency level was achieved, and both berth efficiency and port of call efficiency are evaluated in optimal level.
