Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 社會與區域發展學系碩士班 === 107 === In recent years, the issues related to same-sex marriage have aroused public attention in Taiwan. Taiwan is the first country in Asia legalizing same-sex marriage on May 17, 2019. However, there are few quantitative studies taking homosexauls as a sample to conduct in-depth discussions about the body attractiveness preference of gays and lesbians. Therefore, this study explores whether lesbian, bisexual women and heterosexuals have differences in female-body attractiveness preference or not. The results show that there are differences in female-body attractiveness preference among lesbian, bisexual women and heterosexuals. The differences are as follows: (a) As to waist-to-hip ratio, lesbians do not prefer slimmer waists than bisexual women andheterosexuals. (b) As to BMI, lesbians do not preferstandard fat body type thanbisexual women and heterosexuals. (c) As to breast size, lesbians and bisexual women prefer small-breasted females compared to heterosexual men and women. (d) Bisexual women prefer smaller orbits than lesbians, and lesbians and heterosexuals prefer females with bigger orbits. (e) Heterosexuals prefer females with bigger eyeballs thanlesbians and bisexual women. (f) As to skin color, lesbains and heterosexualsprefer lighter skin color, and bisexual women prefer females withyellowish skin color. (g) There is no significant difference in leg-to-body ratio among lesbians, bisexual women and heterosexuals. It can be inferred that leg-to-body ratio may not be one of considerations in terms of female-body attractiveness preference.
