Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 心理與諮商學系碩士班 === 107 === This study aimed to understand the transforming process of author’s emotion and cognitive under the mother-daughter relationship background during learning the concept of Bodhicitta from Dharma. Via self-narrative method to analysis author’s written backtracking notes during the period of learning Bodhicitta and deem the backtracking notes as the stories which were going to be analyzed. From original data, the researcher extracted elements of emotion and cognitive then processed coding and analyzing, trying to concrete meaningful themes and transforming process. As for emotion aspect, the results from research shown that there were three transforming themes as “from being arrogant to being shamed”, “from being guilty to being confident”, “from being wondering to being relieved”. And these three transforming themes are correspondent to three main practice phase of Bodhicitta which are “Equanimity”, “Loving-Kindness and Compassion”, and finally reaching to “Bodhicitta”. On the other way of cognitive aspect, the results from research shown that there were one transforming themes as “from only having destroying- Bodhicitta cognitive model to lingering between enhancing-or-destroying- Bodhicitta cognitive model”, and the cut line is while the author started to learn concept of Bodhicitta. Based on above results of this research, author reflected and provided suggestions for further researching direction related to loving-kindness, compassion, Bodhicitta in future. Furthermore, how to practice loving-kindness, compassion, Bodhicitta elements in counseling circumstance, and how to put the transforming power of Bodhicitta in to daily life. Hoping can provide helpful information for related job practicing and researching field.
