Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育經營與管理學系 === 107 ===  The purpose of this study is to understand the differences and predictive power of primary school teachers' professional competency and professional commitments in Penghu County. This research adopts the questionnaire survey method. Based on relevant literature and the research structure “Penghu County National Primary School Teacher Professional Competency and Professional Commitment Questionnaire” was designed. The participants were 250 primary school teachers in Penghu County. The valid questionnaires were collected and statistically analyzed with SPSS for Windows 22.0. The multiple regression analysis was used to explore the predictive power of teachers' professional competency and professional commitments. The research results are as follows: 1. The professional competeny of primary school teachers in Penghu County is averagely good. 2. The professional commitments of primary school teachers in Penghu County is averagely good. 3.The background variables have no significant influence on professional competency of primary school teachers in Penghu County . 4. Background variables have no significant influence on professional commitments of primary school teachers in Penghu County . 5. The professional competency can positively predicts professional commitments of primary school teachers in Penghu County. According to the research results, this study proposed suggestions toward teachers, schools, and future researchers.
