The researcher designed narrative texts to observe the progress on participants’ recognition and attitudes in terms of environment issues. The researcher intended to figure out how environmental awareness affects students’ actual actions, attitudes, and behaviors related to the protections of endangered species and environment. In order to explore the reactions after reading the narrative texts, the researcher implemented several reading comprehension strategies and guided paticipants for further discussion afterward. The study concludes as follows: 1. The strategy which allows students to question and discuss mutually can be able to improve students’ paticipation and concentration among the narrative curriculum. 2. Through the narrative curriculum, students can be able to significantly enhance their techniques on asking questions. 3. The narrative curriculum can be capable of helping students develop correct knowledge and attitudes on environmental protection.
