The purpose of this study aims to study the relationships between leisure and learning achievements. This study explores the influences of the university students’ personality traits, leisure involvement and well-being to their learning achievements. Hopefully, the results of the study can offer the instrumental guidelines of improving effectively the learning achievement of the university students to students and teachers. Different from previous research models that explore the impact of learning achievement on leisure participation and well-being, this study uses “leisure involvement” to explore in-depth changes in learning achievement, and adds personality traits as the antecedents. The study looks forward to offering the research results more completely. The subjects of the study were students from the Bachelor degree class at Pingtung University, and the data of this study was collected via questionnaire survey method. A total of 300 valid questionnaires were collected. The results were analyzed and deduced from data through SMARTPLS 2.0 M3 software analysis. The results support the research hypothesis of the study. The following are the main conclusions of the study, 1.The personality traits of university students have a positive effect on leisure involvement. 2. The personality traits of university students have a positive effect on well-being. 3. The leisure involvement of university students has no significant positive effect on learning achievement. 4. The leisure involvement of university students has a positive effect on the well-being. 5. The well-being of university students has a positive and significant effect on their learning achievement. 6. The personality traits of students have predictive power for leisure involvement, and they can explain 31.2% of variation. 7. The personality traits and leisure involvement of university students have a predictive effect on well-being. The variable is 65.0%. 8. The leisure involvement and well-being of university students have a predictive effect on learning achievements. The variable is 49.9%. According to the research results and implications of this study, some instrumental suggestions are provided to students, teachers and further studies.
