This research uses field surveys, as well as the participation and observation method to collect data for analysis. Specifically, this research has three objectives: I. Understand the specific beliefs of the fuluan spiritual guidance seeking within Charity Hall. II. Discuss the current state of Tai-tsu ancestral sacrifices and inheritances within Charity Hall. III. Discuss the future prospects and vision of Charity Hall. Our research results are as follows: Charity Hall maintains an altar and forgoes the process of people becoming spirits in the name of Avalokiteśvara. Avalokiteśvara continually used this kind of method to save the world, and 30 years later, it was formally given to the corporeal form of Kṣitigarbha, that is, current director Wu Congrong, who continued its works of salvation. Ms. Chen Qingyun originally lived in Hengchun Township, Pingtun County. Later, she moved to the east coast and brought her Tai-tsu ancestral pot with her. She worked as a Tai-tsu Inibs (a female preacher), working towards, gathering and fighting for III salvation her entire life. Tai-tsu inheritors must have originally worked with relatives to perform the work of their ancestors, or have served as spirit mediums within their tribes. With the direction of the elder Tai-tsu, and after Kṣitigarbha bore witness, they would conduct the official Buddhist “entering the faith” ceremony. Finally, this research hopes to use these kinds of temple activities to understand how each charitable organization contributes to spiritual education and social peace, and how each charitable organization displays its shared unity to the public.
