According to the Construction and Engineering industry definition; this industry contain building works, civil works, Improvement works, Renovating works, etc. Generally speaking, civil works include Road construction, Bridge construction, Public facility construction, etc. Civil works improving infrastructure and preventing disasters. For example, construct MRT, Highway, Sewerage, Offshore wind firm, these could improve human‘s life and necessary for the company commercial activities. In early Taiwan, Mr.Yoichi HATTA promoted Kanan Irrigation System, Bukai Dam Project. In Japan, Hideyoshi TOYOTOMI promoted to build Osaka Castle, Ieyasu TOKUGAWA promoted to construct Edo Castle with related civil works. The country''s economy situation of country is supported by civil works. Civil works need the lots of human power since the product is customizing, so civil works could provide lots of job opportunity. Now, Global construction firm''s goes overseas positively. However, even if they have high technology, not always successful. More than 10 Japanese construction firm''s have ever into the Taiwanese Civil market in peak time, but now almost all Japanese construction firm''s exited the market.
