It will become a super-aged society where at least 20 percent of the population is 65 years old or older by 2026. The remote areas of northern Kaohsiung, including Cishan、Meinung、Tianliao、Liouguei、Jiasian、Shanlin、Neimen、Maolin、Taoyuan and Namasia, have become super-aged regions where at least 20 percent of the population is above 65 years old. However, there is only one district hospital in these areas or the patients need to spend at least 40 minutes driving their car to other hospitals in the urban areas. It is difficult for the patients with terminal disease to accept hospice care at his home. We have established a hospice team for hospice home care and hospice hospitalization in Cishan Hospital since 2015. We use SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of this plan, and try to find the strategies to overcome the difficulties
