Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 戲劇學系 === 107 === This study base on the three plays of the《Game City series》of Da-Yan troupe: 1). Love girl, 2). Thrill of your thirties, and 3). Buyer / seller. Da-Yan troupe has been formed with background that numerous small troupes were forming simultaneously. The troupe has created its own style of play, which has based on the modern city-life experiences. The ticket selling campaigns have given very good feedbacks, especially the troupe has not been funded or supported by any third parties. These feedbacks have indicated that the troupe’s performances are really popular. The troupe has started the performance of 《Game City series》with the first play of《Love girl》. The maid show was taken place in the Nanhai Theater in 2015. More additional performances were hold in the Ximen Red House, and the troupe was invited to give a show in Taichung for《Love girl- talk show version》in the end of 2015. The troupe are invited to Taichung again in order to give a performance of《Love Girl- version 3.0》this year. The performances of《Thrill of your thirties》and《Buyer / Seller》are very popular as well. The revision and evolution of these plays deserve a detail study on them. This study adapts the concepts from two vital masterpieces: 1). the three principles for the objects from Aristotle’s《De Poetica》and 2). the three principles for the play from Lajos Egri’s《The art of dramatic writing》to study the aforementioned plays. The textual analyses are based on the first hand record and the personal experiences during the author’s participation in the troupe. In addition, we analyzed the content and concepts of these plays with the playwright’s personal philosophy. Thus we can discuss the play’s philosophical value to the audiences, and to discover the multi-dimensional thoughts in the play’s contents. We hope the results of this study can be seen as a good case study for other troupes, and the outcome will encourage the creation for more good plays in the future.
