Besides taking education, training, and accumulating performance experiences, self-improving continually are also required. Since each actor has different education background and working experiences, there are various individual methods or processes of performing. Therefore, gaps between actors in performance quality and rehearsal efficiency also exist. This thesis explored the feasibility of using a form to integrate the work content of the actor. In Chapter II the researcher found out the basic definition of the actor's work content, supplemented by analyzing the structure of the play, Nine Layers’ House, a musical adapted from the novel written by Zhang Wei-Zhong. After building a prototype, in Chapter III this procedure form was used on analyzing the script and the role, Aunt Liao Lien-Mei. Through this examining process, the supplements and limitations of improving an actor’s work by using Actor’s Procedure Form were discovered, and a personalization system fit on most theatrical performances was built.
