Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 建築系 === 107 === This study aimed to investigate visitors’ views on the improvement of Aimen Beach based on the perspective of universal design. Using “Guidebook on Universal Design for Scenic Areas” published by Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, as the foundation, this study conducted a field survey and analysis to explore the current status and problems with regard to implementation of universal design and examine the aspects of Aimen Beach that need improvement. According to survey results, this study used Kano two-dimensional quality model to develop a questionnaire and administered it during both high and low seasons. Through an analysis of the responses, this study obtained the items that should be prioritized and the items that could be temporarily put on hold. The items that should be prioritized include “adding shade to the observation deck”, “providing an indoor washing and cleaning space”, “installing seats in the pavilions”, and “facing the seats toward the ocean”. These suggestions for improving Aimen Beach could also be a reference for developing universal design in scenic areas of the same type.
