However, Chloroprene rubber(CR) is the earliest developed synthetic rubber, widely used in the sealing products, oil washers, gaskets, oil resisting rubber hose, adhesive, conveyor belt, wetsuit, cable plastic materials..etc, play an important role in Commodity sector, industry, high-tech industry. Carbon black for the multi- function of the reinforced materiel, widely used in rubber materials, the formation of functional composite rubber. Because the silica has a high surface activity, compared with the carbon black particles smaller, surface area larger, can enhance the cohesion of the solid-state system, so it can be reinforcing agent of the rubber, can enhance the tensile strength, elasticity and transparency of the compound. In this study, CR is used the commonly sulfur-bridging system, used to fill carbon black/silica in different ratios, and the effect of carbon black/silica ratio on the speed of bridge is discussed. After hot pressing, the basic properties of the test piece are tested. The aging test explores the effects of different carbon black/silica ratios on the degree of aging test. The results show that the best silica ratio in CR composite filling system is add amount of 20 to 30 phr(total fillers 60phr), which has a fast curing speed and a good processing safety, and hardness, wear resitance are better than carbon black system, and has the best overall performance.
